Hurstmere Cottage is 5mins from Matakana. Nestled at the back of our farm, the cottage is surrounded in countryside with tuis, bellbirds and even kookaburras, it is instantaneous relaxation. Connected to the new cycleway you can be into the township or exploring the beaches and countryside with ease. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.
