Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Modern, rustic, Aframe cabin on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, all appliances, glass stove top, airfryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Books, games The Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly in the colder months. All wood provided. There is also a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
