Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

Lakeway ima 4 dvokrevetne sobe, glavna spavaća soba je privatna, a tu je i veliki dnevni boravak/ trpezarija koja ima dovoljno prostora za opuštanje s prijateljima ili porodicom. Easy to reach whether you are travelling North or South, Gibson Cottage is located just two miles from J40 on the M6 and the market town of Penrith, which is serviced by a main line train station. The Cottage is set off the beaten track where you will have the chance to enjoy some peace and quiet and relax!
