Welcome to our home! We’re offering sunny, spacious and cosy private room located in Dinan centre, only a 3 minute-walk to the medieval town and ideally-positioned for visiting nearby Dinard, St Malo,Rennes and Mont St. Michel. Dinan is a medieval town with a relaxing atmosphere. It has city walls (donjon, towers and doors from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries), medieval streets (Rue du Jerzual) and charming plazzas: Du Guesclin plazza and Du Champs plazza famous for its glass facades from the 18th century. Once a fortress for the ducs de Bretagne, Dinan is one of the best-preserved and prettiest towns in Brittany. We have two 17 sq m bedroom incl en suite (shower/ bath, toilets, towel dryer, sink) with a TV and wireless internet. Towels and fresh linen provided. Baby cot, babychair are available. Breakfast is included. The house has a big garden overlooking the ramparts and is located in the city centre, just outside the city walls. 3 mins walk to the medieval town. You will be able to park your car in the garden. Note that blue room (Pavillon Gaudel bleu) on top floor offers option to get your own fully equiped kitchen to prepare yourself diner in case you prefer this option rather than eating outside in numerous Dinan restaurants... Really close to all amenities, train station (10mins easy walk) and medieval town (3mins walk). ACTIVITIES: Major historical attractions include St Saviour's Basilica, the flamboyant Gothic St Malo's Church, the Collège des Cordeliers, the Romanesque Duchess Anne's Tower (Tour de l'horloge), the Jacobins Theatre dating from 1224 and the Château de Dinan. Dinan's "jardin Anglais" ( "English garden" located behind St Saviour's Basilica) offers a lovely panorama overlooking the valley, the River Rance, the old harbor and the viaduct. The town retains a large section of the city walls, part of which can be walked round. The remparts promenade is a must. Between the back garden of our house and the small ditches you will find the "jardin des petits diables" ("garden of the litlle devils"), with playgrounds for kids: toboggan, slides, a minigolf and an animal garden. DINAN'S MUSEUMS: the castle museum; the rail museum; Yvonne Jean Haffen museum (famous Breton painter); the 39-45 WWII museum ARCHEOLOGICAL SITES: Corseul 7 km and Pleslin 5 km THE MUST-SEE'S: Lehon Abbey 2 km; Taden Manor (Gallo-Roman villa; 1st-2nd century A.D.) 5 km SPECIAL EVENTS: Tour de France this summer! The "Fête des Remparts" is Dinan's major highlight. It occurs on the third weekend of July and is held in even-numbered years (2014 is the next one). Locals dress up in medieval costumes and duels are staged. WE ARE LOCATED AT: 32km from Cancale (oyster farming site). Nearby you can go for a nice walk along the coast at the headland of Grouin which offers a beautiful view on the Mont-Saint-Michel. 25km from Saint Malo and Dinard and the Rance dam. 28km from Dol Cathedral and Mont-Dol cathedraloscope 45 minutes from the MONT SAINT MICHEL 20 minutes from Saint Suliac (fishing village) 42km from Fort Lalatte (old feudal castle and medieval garden) and 42km from Cape frehel 13 km castle from hac château (trefumel_le Quiou) 50 minutes from Biennassis Castle (Erquy) INTERESTS: -Dinan-Lehon: swimming pool, mini golf, tennis, boat trips on the Rance, bike and foot path and walking path halage, cinemas. La Maison d hôte du Mont Saint Michel est à 4mns du parking du Mont Saint Michel. Une maison de 1802 décorée avec soin pour vous apporter un confort 3 étoiles. Vous disposerez d une chambre double avec un lit King Size 160x200. Un balcon avec vue jardin et sur le Mont Saint Michel. Une salle de bain privative avec douche italienne, baignoire et WC. Un espace avec réfrigérateur, Nespresso et Bouilloire. Le grand Spa extérieur vous fera vivre un joli moment détente. Petit déjeuner inclus.

Chambre de charme à la campagne / Charming room

Hélène propose dans sa maison du 18 ème siecle entierement rénovée avec vue sur la campagne jardin entourée de nature proche de la forêt, une chambre lumineuse plein sud avec une salle douche avec wc privé une deuxième chambre est possible même conditions, voir annonce chambre vue panoramique … Cette chambre n’est pas adaptée pour les enfants petits ou grands.. Je suis désolée de ne plus pouvoir accueillir nos compagnons à 4 pattes le non respect de certains pénalise tout le monde ..

Sur les hauteurs de Blonville sur Mer, comme à l'hôtel, vous adorerez le décor élégant de cette chambre d'hôte indépendante. Venez-vous ressourcer en profitant du calme de la campagne à seulement 2.5 km de la plage de Blonville sur mer et de ses commerces. 7 Km de Deauville, Casino, plage, place Morny Terrasse avec vue sur notre jardin de 6000 M2 et le clocher de l’église. Vous pourrez stationner votre voiture à l’intérieur de la propriété. Petit déjeuner sucré ou salé en supplément.
