Castle Coach House

This stone coach house conversion with underfloor heating is set in a beautiful garden, offering a cozy, home-from-home feel with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Located in Tongwynlais, it has excellent transport links to Cardiff city centre in under 20 minutes, and easy access to all of South East Wales. The magical Castell Coch is just up the road, and the Coach House is a 1-minute walk from the local pub. Enjoy fantastic mountain and woodland walks, all nearby for a perfect escape.

The Retreat Cottage

This cottage is set next to our house, with its own driveway, which parks 2/3 cars. The garden is semi enclosed, which is great for dogs, with a stream running through it.. There is a patio area with furniture for outside dining and a bbq. The nearest pub, The Maenllwyd Inn, is approx. 15 min walk via the road or a little longer through the woods. There is also a driveway leading into a wood which is perfect for strolls over to the nearby Draethen and Ruperra Castle and the beautiful views.

Cwmwbwb Lodge

Cwmwbwb Lodge is a 300 year old stone cottage and former hunting lodge of the Marquis of Bute! Fully renovated for your comfort, the lodge nestles on the side of Caerphilly Mountain - with views across the mountain and local golf course. You're just a two minute drive from Caerphilly town and train station with all the amenities you need including shops, bars and restaurants.
