Because of its unique vibe, our cottage got the nickname “Love nest” and it is ideal hideout for honeymooners and couples with young children :) We recommend you come by car, we are on a remote part of the island. Krk Island has 80 lovely beaches. You can access our nearest beach on foot - however it is 1km away and a 15-30 minute walk. There is very little public transport around the island.

This hundred-year-old stone house, restored with love, is located on the slopes of Učka, near Opatija. Traditional architecture with stone and wooden details creates an authentic atmosphere, while the nature that surrounds it offers an ideal escape from the busy life. Kuća je smještena u selu Karnevali, najbliži grad Žminj udaljen je manje od 10 minuta vožnje, dok će vam do najbliže plaže trebati oko 30 minuta autom. Ujutro će vas buditi kukurikanje pijetla, a tijekom dana možete sresti koze, krave i magarce koji će vas pozdraviti s druge strane ograde.

Bolara 60, the Kućica: stone cottage near Grožnjan

Bolara 60 is a traditional Istrian stone farmhouse near the medieval hilltop town of Grožnjan. The Kućica (cottage) is a self-contained, fully furnished house with its own kitchen and terrace. It's next door to our home and small guesthouse (the Kuća), and near a farm where our neighbours make olive oil and wine, but otherwise there are no houses around. It's very green and peaceful here, with views into the Mirna valley, and deer, birds and butterflies all around.

Our House was one of the first houses to be built in the pretty village of Koseze, back in 1767. We have now brought it back to life and completely renovated it, making sure it offers all the comforts you would expect to find.
