Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Idyllically situated shepherds hut with uninterrupted views of Snowdon and surrounding mountains. The house can sleep up to 6 guests , with two double bedrooms and a single with bunkbeds . There are two spacious private gardens either side with views of Snowdon/ Wyddfa and neighbouring mountains. The patio garden has a large outdoor seating area . The house also has private parking for two vehicles and fast fibre optic broad band.

Located in a small Welsh village between Llanberis and Caernarfon, very close to Snowdonia National Park and continues to be an excellent base for explorers. The house is opposite a small Petrol Station and Spar Grocery Shop selling all basic supplies. The house is perfectly located as a base to explore stunning landscapes, beautiful lakes and magnificent mountains.
