Step into Jinks Cottage and I hope you step into a real ‘home from home’. A cosy cottage with a fabulous & foodie local pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. The emphasis is on luxury and comfort in this well-equipped, warm, welcoming cottage. Originally built in the 13th century, Jinks Cottage was home to the village cobbler (called Jinks), his wife and six children. Now carefully restored, it provides a spacious country retreat for four, plus your four-legged friends, as we’re very dog friendly!

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

A delightful cottage set below the Blorenge mountain in the historic village of Llanfoist. The Counting House offers character with modern facilities fully renovated in 2020. Conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to both the picturesque Monmouthshire and Brecon canal and the Abergavenny-Brynmawr cycle track and is a great base for hill walking in the Black Mountains and the local Abergavenny 3 peaks. Walk into the market town which offers an array of top restaurants, pubs and cafes.

The Toad…Quirky train stay with wood fired hot tub

Step aboard The Toad, a beautifully restored 1921 GWR brake van (AKA Toad Wagon), once a vital part of post-war goods trains. Weighing 20 tons and brimming with original rustic features, this historic wagon offers characterful self-catering accommodation with a touch of luxury. As you enjoy the short buggy ride down to the far end of our woodland you will be astounded when you come across our beautiful woodland cabin set in the treetops. You will immediately feel relaxed as you immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. Lounging chairs on the decking provide the perfect place for your morning coffee listening to the birds sing and soak away your stress in the wood fired hot tub then cosy up in front of the log burner and enjoy the tranquility of the woodland.

Dry Dock Cottage

Relaxing is easy in Dry Dock Cottage: there’s a cinema snug, roll-top bath and king-size bed. The high-tech gadgetry means that, at the touch of a screen, you can control the heating, close the blinds, dim the lights and play your favourite music. With spectacular views from all four levels, this open-plan former dry dock sits at the very water’s edge. Open the bi-fold glass doors from the lounge area, to get even closer to the ducks and the boats that pass by. Pets are welcome, too.

Crispin Cottage 1 bedroom private accommodation

Just 4 miles from Abergavenny with views of the Brecon Beacons and many walks and bike rides along quiet roads, from the door. Own entrance, to private accommodation, comprising sitting room with wood burner, upstairs landing area with kitchenette ( microwave, no oven), shower room, and one beautiful beamed double bedroom. Breakfast ingredients are provided ( fresh bread every morning, butter, jams, cereals, yogurt, fruit compote, milk, tea and coffee, many home made and local)

Farm stay, in beautiful rural Monmouthshire

We are a working dairy goat farm, milking 600 goats twice a day. Our milk goes into a delicious soft goats cheese, which is made in the neighbouring town of Abergavenny and sold through many of the large supermarkets. We are ideally situated for cycling and walking, with many footpaths nearby, including Offa's Dyke and a fabulous range of mountains. We are within 2 miles of the renowned Michelin star Walnut Tree Inn and there are many other wonderful country pubs in the locality.

We are 3.2 miles from the wonderful market town of Abergavenny, gateway to the Beacons National Park. We have amazing views of Skirrid Mountain and countryside. You can roam freely around our 5 acres of land/garden . We supply outside furniture and sole use of our external hot tub, please note it’s available for use all year around, a disclaimer to be signed prior to use.

Spring Farm’s authentic railway carriage is set in a secluded orchard with stunning panoramic views down the whole length of the Bryn Awr valley to the Brecon Beacons. Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)
