Valentine Cottage, situated in a tranquil area of old Tideswell, has delightful views to fall in love with. The generous gardens to three sides are south-west facing and can be bathed in glorious sunshine all day long. This cosy 180 year old stone built character cottage has been recently renovated and furnished to a very high standard with a traditional look, but with excellent modern conveniences and accessories. The luxurious and comfortable self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 6 people.

This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. *Please note - bathroom refurbishment (completed 1st March 2026) The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but no longer a separate shower.

The Red Lion serves great food & the local shop sells homemade and local goods are both 1/4mile away. The nearby village of Tideswell has more shops, pubs & cafes. Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton & Chatsworth are all within easy reach as well as stunning countryside walks & beauty spots.

The lanes are lined with pretty sandstone cottages and an idyllic ford runs through the cobbled street below the cottage and a great country pub is round the corner. The village boasts many amenities - a Co-op, bakery, a butcher, Pharmacy, café, several pubs and a superb restaurant-all in walking distance.

A cosy cottage in a thriving village. Pretty walled garden with garden furniture. Well equipped, with quality linen, towels. Bathroom with separate bath and great power shower. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has two singles which can be zipped together to make a king size. Great Wi-Fi signal. Family friendly, cot and high chair available. Sorry no pets. Two minute walk into the village situated away from the main road on the hillside. Self check in with key box.

Lawrence cottage is located in a brilliant position in the village of Tideswell, close to the many amenities the village has to offer. There is great walking and cycling straight from the front door. The cottage itself is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. Price includes bedding, towels etc. Travel cot and high chair available. Free wifi. Pets accepted. Our house is attached to the cottage, so we are generally on hand if you need us for anything.
