Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Mister Hare's Cottage - beautiful Lakeland cottage

A stunning 200 year-old cottage located in the charming small village of Bouth in the Lake District, now a UNESCO world heritage region. Situated on a quiet country road and bounded on two sides by open fields, with grazing shire horses and Jersey cows, this is the idyllic country retreat. The cottage has been renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining all the charm of its period. The traditional village pub is a few metres away. Breathtaking natural scenery awaits you from the doorway.

We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Rock Cottage retains many original features such as flag floors, beams and exposed stone walls. Drakes Cottage sits within the courtyard of a former 18th-century coaching stable. The medieval village of Cartmel is a 15 minute walk via footpaths and country lanes, home to its 12th century Priory, Michelin starred restaurants and famous sticky toffee pudding. Grange-over-Sands is a 5-minute drive, with shops and a lovely promenade. The southern shores of Lake Windermere are just 12 minutes away. Close to Lake Windermere, the whole of The Lake District National Park is yours to discover. Children will adore the superb play park just across the lane and 'grown ups' may wish to celebrate a really special occasion together and try out the wood fired pizza oven and BBQ. Dogs are welcome and will be safe in the garden which is totally enclosed.

Upper Crumble a romantic retreat for two set in an idyllic rural location with beautiful views. It has its own Hot Tub in a private courtyard. Perfectly located to access The Lakes and the medieval village of Cartmel. Cosy log stove, Wifi and private car park. The property is ideally situated close to local attractions including the foodie capital of Cartmel and the southern shores of Windermere. Further afield, activities such as fell walking, mountain biking in Grizedale Forest and trips to the towns of Bowness, Ambleside and Grasmere are all easily accessible.

The Cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and woodlands or just walk a few hundred yards out of the door and you can walk for miles along the beach.
