We are very centrally located to downtown Salmon, only 2 blocks from the new Whitewater Park, and just a few blocks to the hospital, dining, and shopping! The Uptown House is the perfect home base and Challis is a great starting point to explore the many sites of the Salmon Challis NF, fish the Salmon River, or simply enjoy laid back mountain living. Located at the upper end of Main Street in old town Challis, this 1930’s store front has been converted to a spacious getaway that is close to local restaurants and bars and within minutes of groceries, gas and shopping making it easy to plan your visit.

Downtown Suite, with patio (Suite use only) 2 full size queen beds, one is a Murphy that when closed, leaves a very spacious room, or the dining table can be set up. The bathroom is X large, 2 sinks, separate shower and soakèŕ tub, and makeup table. There is a kitchenette, with its own sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, induction burner, coffee station, pots, pans, and dishes for your use. We also have an electric grill (works great) on the patio.

Copperhead Cabin

Escape to Freeman Creek. This charming 650 sq ft cabin offers all the amenities including a full kitchen and wifi. Sleeping accommodations feature a queen bed on the main floor and two twin beds and a hide a bed couch in the loft. Also enjoy the walk in tiled shower. With perfect views of Copperhead, unwind on our porch swing after a day of exploring Lemhi County. Experience the comforts of privacy from our cabin only 8 miles from Salmon.
