Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)

Welcome to Brandybuck Cottage, a unique arts & crafts inspired 1850’s cottage located in the heart of the vibrant village of Mountsorrel, Leicestershire, with pubs, walks, cafes and restaurants all on your doorstep. Brandybuck cottage is a cosy two bedroomed, self catering cottage. There is an additional third bedroom located in the grounds of the cottage in the outhouse. There is also private parking for 2 cars on the driveway, a large terrace & secret garden to enjoy.

Come and spend time in our beautiful rustic Shepherd hut, where you can relax in the hot tub with our 3 lovely Alpacas or hang out with Piggy Pop and Stardust. Don't be put off by the weather; you can be wrapped in a blanket or toast marshmallows on the log fire, reading a book, or watching our indoor Cinema. Excellent travel links to the A50, A46 and M1 and a 5 minute drive from Groby pool, Martinshaw woods and Bradgate park. My place is great for a working professional couple or even a single person!

At the end of the day Lord Foxton loves nothing more than a relaxing soak in his wood fired hot tub and you’re invited to join him for this luxurious experience.

Conveniently located for the market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, with it’s Castle, country walks on the door step with the added bonus of a local Public House (The Black Lion) selling a selection of real ales, across the lane. This makes this the perfect place to explore the National Forest and everything it has to offer. Charging of electric vehicles by prior arrangement only, at an additional cost. Pets, you must inform us of breed prior to booking.
