The Lodge sleeps six persons and is located near Cirencester in the heart of the Cotswolds. A superb setting with excellent on site facilities- tennis, table tennis, fly & coarse fishing & a children’s play area. Canoeing & SUP (stand up paddle) are available a short walk away. Restaurants and cafes are also within walking distance. Dogs are very welcome.

Walking around the beautiful grounds, carp fishing or boating on the lake, enjoying a game of tennis, boules and table tennis, or discovering miles of safe cycle paths around the Cotswold Lakes area. The children could be playing on the swings, zip wire and climbing frame in their own safe play area or playing giant chequers. Don’t imagine, book it!

On the lake

This is a lovely base in the Cotswolds sitting on the lake, with a south facing aspect. Its family-friendly with plenty of activities in the area including horse riding, walks, gym, golf and even a beach. It is a great getaway for anyone, from couples, solo adventurers, and obviously families (with kids). There are all the essentials indoors from well equipped kitchen with dishwasher to high speed broadband. Oxford, Bath, Stratford upon Avon and Cheltenham are all within an hours drive.

The Coach House makes up part of Bretforton Manor, a Grade II-listed Jacobean estate that’s a 10-minute drive from Chipping Campden in the picturesque north Cotswolds. We only have the one property which is luxurious and very spacious for two people. Guests have access to our incredible facilities (5 acres of grounds with an indoor swimming pool, which is open April to Sept and a tennis court). Bretforton is a brilliant base to explore the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford.
