Conveniently located just 1.4 miles off Highway 43 and close to David Crockett State Park (18 min away), where you can enjoy outdoor activities like biking, hiking, and fishing. The property shares a drive with the primary residence, providing a tranquil and private retreat.

Enjoy a free relaxation spa session per week if you reserve 1 or more weeks. It's "serene and quiet" here. Enjoy views of forest, meadow, ponds and neighbors' farm animals. Nearby are state parks with lakes, rivers, waterfalls, hiking, biking, also The Farm Community, Amish farms and local historic towns with antiques/amenities. Wifi here; no TV. No pets. Our space is not for gatherings, extra commercial vehicles, or excess noise. Please limit any business use to the cabin and porch.

Laurel Hill Cabin

The "Cabin" is located at the entrance to Laurel Hill Wildlife Management Area. There are miles of horseback trails winding through over 14,000 acres within the WMA. There are 2 lakes with ample fishing. Trout are stocked numerous times throughout the year in both the VFW lake & Little Buffalo River. There are 29 miles of gravel roads open to horse traffic most of the year. Local attractions include Eagle Creek WMA, David Crockett State Park, Amish Country, and Crazy Horse Canoe rental.

A peaceful retreat at Kahu Farm

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars! This lovely canvas tent has a comfy queen size bed, tables and chair with ottoman. There’s outdoor seating on the deck, a table and chairs outside and a lovely spot to enjoy an evening fire! We have an outdoor shower and bathroom for your use along with an outdoor kitchen where we are happy to offer coffee and baked goods for breakfast when available! Please let us know if you’d like those in advance. We also just installed solar power!

Two smart TVs, 55in on the inside and a 40in in the outside screened in porch. Propane grill downstairs. Two beds; a queen in the Loft(access to loft is by attics stairs~375lb rating) and a twin downstairs. There is also a large pillow-back couch.
