Feel like you are in the middle of nowhere while only being minutes from the lively town of Taupo. Our large front porch and yard is the perfect place to enjoy time with your loved ones. Lake & Mountain views. 10 min stroll down hill to the lake/2 mile bay. 5 minute walk to local dairy/shop. 7 minute drive to centre to main town centre. Max guests is 4 including children & infants. Sorry - airbnb settings do not allow us to specify this in guest number settings, they only let us exclude children completely.

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Uber or taxi available if you do not have a vehicle.
