Quiet neighbourhood, with lake close by. Guests have the entire ground floor apartment to themselves with separate entrance door and private access to courtyard and lovely garden (my husband and I live upstairs). Close to Skyline Skyride/gondola, Rainbow Springs, Mitai, Canopy Tours and other tourist spots. Free Wifi. Great heating. Cereal, Milk, fresh Plunger-coffee, Tea variety, but no-cooking facilities. Lilac House is a very private and peaceful property. Up a long driveway overlooking Lake Rotorua. A great place to unwind, relax and explore the wonderful attractions that Rotorua has to offer. Guests have their own external entrance. There is a boat ramp directly across the road at the end of the driveway. Only minutes away from some of the famous trout spots and the Hamurana Springs. There is a footpath for those who enjoy a walk right on the lake from the bottom of the driveway.

The studio is well equipped and comfortable. A kayak is available. Guests comment that "the view was amazing. Waking up with the view of the lake was super nice. The apartment is below our brand new home, however, it is completely separate with your own private entrance and outdoor areas. We are two minutes walk away from Rotorua Tree Trust and a five minute drive to world class mountain biking and walking trails. This apartment is not suitable for young children who need space to run around inside.
