Where jungle meets the beach. Just a 5-minute-walk to the water. On top of the first hill overlooking the ocean. We are one of the closest apartment to playa Maderas! You will enjoy this rustic, light studio apartment. It has a compact kitchenette + living room. The bed- and bathroom are totally screened in to make you feel comfortable in the tropics. Keep in mind though that we are in the jungle and critters are a part of that! There is a small garden with a picnic table and a hammock chair.

We are located 6 kms/3.7 miles from Moyogalpa, main port of entry onto the island, far enough to be off the beaten path and then some. The lakefront is just a 15 min walk from our place, you'll see how locals live just from the trail. A stay here is one for the soul. Our nightly price includes 1 guest, of course families w/kids, couples, groups and pets welcomed; $10/guest after 1 guest. Breakfast is included w/stay, we offer delish lunch & dinner options at friendly prices upon request!

Selvista: Casa Chilamate canopy top jungle studio

This spacious, self contained tree-top cabin with viewing deck is a bright and airy, naturally finished room sitting in the canopy at the base of Volcano Maderas. It is west facing, w views to Volcano Conception. Located just 10 minutes outside of Balgue and ten minutes from the trailhead to Maderas lagoon, this is a convenient 'jungle' setting. Breakfast fruits, juice and a coffee, WiFi, parking, travel assistance, advice + tours of our farm included- gratis. A true island adventure!

Die Bungalows, direkt am Strand gelegen, sind traditionell aus Holz und Bambus gebaut, das Dach mit Palmen gedeckt. Die Stelzenbauweise und die Moskitonetze schützen vor unliebsamen Besuchern. Aufgrund der Nachhaltigkeit verwenden wir ausschließlich Strom aus einer eigenen Solaranlage, Stromausfälle sind uns unbekannt.

An 8-minute walk to the beach, good for working remotely, private space with little garden in the front, great for one person or a couple, kitchen + gas provided, three loving dogs. You will need 4x4 to access via vehicle You will hear the sounds of nature outside: the wind, the rain, and you will encounter natures liveliness during your stay.

Jungle Beach Surf Casita

Our cute casita is situated in a large garden beside a river. You can listen to the birds and howler monkeys, relax in your hammock on the patio, and look at the Guanacaste trees in the garden. You can use the basketball court on the property with a terrace and outdoor kitchen. You can walk to Marsella beach (10 min.) or Maderas beach (20 min.), where you have great surf. It is 10 min. to San Juan del Sur: you can already use the new road, the Costanera, that is being built.

Our surf studio is a 3 min walk to Playa Marsella or a 2 minute drive/15 min walk to surf Playa Maderas. Strong internet connection allows for remote working with reliable connection, and backup power. Enjoy a Sunday Baseball game at your doorstep supporting our local team. Relax under the trees, in a hammock or go for a surf. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, including Machete cafe, Artesano, Hush and a couple more restaurants on the Marsella Beach to name a few.

Cabin, volcanoes view

Finca Montania Sagrada lies in an open space at the foot of Volcano Maderas. The property is about 50mts above lake level, off the main road and quiet. Coming here is not for everyone. The short road (400mts) to reach our gate is very stony and bumpy. Not all vehicles make it up. In the rainy seasons, May, June, September and October it becomes worst. Exploring the neighbourhood is best done walking.

Surfside Studios 2 Playa Marsella San Juan del Sur

Brand new studios, sitting directly between Playa Marsella and Playa Maderas, on top of the hill. 10min away from San Juan del Sur. we have a spectacular view of the ocean and a short walk to both beaches. The studio apartment is one of two on the property, with all the amenities you'll need. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, Hot water, AC, Wifi, 24 hour security, fully gated and secure.

This spacious one-bedroom bungalow with queen-size bed, tub and shower, offers luxury and privacy in a romantic natural setting. The bungalow has its own private patio with plunge pool where guests can enjoy relaxing and admiring the beauty surrounding the villa. A staircase is used to access this villa and may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. 1,000 square feet.
