In the heart of Madawaska Valley, you are close to toboganning, beaches, lakes, boating, golfing, xc skiing and a stone's throw from Algonquin Park. This handmade cabin is made from logs and timbers that came from the property and is equipped with hot running water, TV and movies, beautiful full kitchen with stove and fridge, full bathroom.

This hike-in, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. Immersed in forest along the shore of the Bonnechere River, New Frontiers offers comfortable three-season camping in our cozy domes. Your dome is fully equipped with a bathroom, complete with shower and compositing toilet. Climb the ladder to a king-sized loft bed under the stars. Make a fresh breakfast in the kitchenette.

Rose Door Cottage

Quaint and cozy 1 bedroom cottage tucked along the southeastern shore of a small, quiet lake. Recently renovated, the cottage is the perfect romantic getaway. It's located 1 km from snowmobile/ATV trails, 15 minutes from Bancroft and 45 minutes from Algonquin Park. The cottage includes a floating dock with swim ladder, bbq, woodburning outdoor firepit, canoe, kayaks, woodburning indoor fireplace, smart tv with starlink satellite.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
