This cabin located 10 min west of Creede has amazing views of the Weminuche wilderness and is walking distance to world class fly fishing on the Rio Grande river. This cabin gives you easy access to outdoor activities and Creede, including the Reparatory Theater. This is the perfect base camp for your next adventure. Wake up to elk grazing in the meadow, explore during the day, and relax at night in this custom built cabin with unique features from the local area.

Iron Kettle Cabin w/ all modern amenities!

Our cabin was originally built in the early 1930s. Over the past two years, we've completely restored the space with modern amenities, including all tile bathrooms, a walk-in shower, fully remodeled kitchen, washer & dryer, etc... The back yard cozies up to Lake City Town Park and is great for evening barbecues on the large deck (we have a brand-new Weber grill, too!). The cabin is perfect for 2 couples or young families. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is perfect for 2 adults; but can accommodate additional guests for an additional $20 per person per night. The house has a fenced in yard and is located on 1 acre just a few minutes walk from the national forest. Enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from the cozy enclosed porch. There is plenty of room for ATV parking, and you can go directly to many trails without having to tow or trailer!

Backcountry Basecamp 1

The cabin is located in Lake City directly across from the visitor center, movie theater, and post office. It was built in 2019. The cabin is 420 sq ft and includes a bathroom with large shower, a kitchen, a laundry room, two private decks, private little yard with fire pit, and parking. It is a studio type set up. It is attached but separate to a larger 1900 sq ft cabin that is also for rent.
