Paddling silently in the canoe, you may see Sand Hill Cranes, endangered osprey on their nests in the spring or great blue herons and bald eagles fishing in the summer and fall. Bald eagles, deer, otters, heron, wood ducks, muskrat, rabbits, turtles, frogs. Three kayaks, a Grumman canoe and two bicycles are available.

The downtown area has great shopping and places to eat, as well as a grocery store to get yourself stocked for your stay.
