By the Lake is a welcoming, private suite situated in a beautiful, modern waterfront home with a stunning view over the lake and a lovely garden with a hot tub. Five minutes drive from downtown and 15 minutes from Whitewater ski area, provides refreshing hikes and skiing opportunities close by. Close access to shopping and restaurants. John's Walk lakeside path passes right by the house, leading you to attractive Lakeside Park. Our beach provides a peaceful spot to relax on the lake shore.

Retreat, relax & enjoy complete privacy in your own brand new separate access suite which includes a full service open kitchen w eating bar, tv room area, separate bedroom & bathroom w air conditioning, and private laundry room. Located in the tranquil setting of Schroeder Creek on scenic Kootenay Lake & includes access to: kayaks (2), hot tub, fire pit, beach chairs, umbrella, beach & boat access. Close to the amenities of Kaslo, but far enough to 'get away from it all' and enjoy nature!

The Rusty Bear - Waterfront home on Kootenay Lake.

The Rusty Bear is our awesome home in Procter Point. Our rock beach on Kootenay Lake gives way to a world of watersports possibilities including kayaking, SUP and world-class fishing. The small community of Procter offers a General Store (complete with fuel and liquor) as well as the Village Bakery (with their famous cinnamon buns). Hiking and biking the Proctologist trails are just out the front door. Golfing is around the corner. Dining, if not on our amazing deck, is a short drive.

Blue Heron micro Beach House (A-Frame)

Relax in this charming and newly renovated micro suite with your own private beach. This 400 square-foot A-frame includes your own private beach for peace and tranquility. Location is off the main highway so easy to find and very accessible but does have some highway noise. Some accessibility issues with the stairs to the loft bedroom and the 200 meter walk down to your private beach. The path winds through a small cedar forest and over the creek bridge. A little bit of forest bathing.

Creekside Cabin - 2 minute walk to the beach.

This creekfront cabin is private & feels secluded yet close to all that Nelson has to offer. Priced for 2 guests but can accomodate a maximum of 3 with a $50/night supplement for an extra guest. (2 Beds: 1 Queen, 1 Single). A 2 min walk to a sandy beach; 5 min drive to town along the picturesque shoreline of Kootenay Lake; 25-30 min to the ski resort; or 30 min to Ainsworth Hotsprings. Perfect for Kootenay adventures or remote workers (fibre optic internet 1000 Mbps). Sorry, no pets.

Canoes and kayaks available for free to guests. Although attached to another cabin this unit is completely independent with your own private deck and fire pit. The surrounding mountains have many hiking trails with more amazing views. This is a true mountain paradise rustic but with all the comforts needed to enjoy a hassle free stay.
