I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

The Machiya Inn「Crimson」has been converted into the licensed accommodation, which can accommodate up to 4 people. We rent it out to only one group at a time. This means that you have an entire house for yourselves. Perfectly comfortable for couples and best fitted for families or groups. We retain some classic Kyoto exteriors and interiors, western comforts like beds, kitchenette, dining table and chairs are also well furnished. Nearby there is the Kamigamo-shrine and Shimogamo-shrine,which are both world heritage. And you can get to the famous Kinkaku-ji(world heritage) by bycycle within 30 minutes. If you want to go to the Daitoku-ji or Imamiya-shrine,You can walk there about 15 minutes.Also you can enjoy Kamo-riverside walk with easy access. Our guesthouse rocated in the shopping street,which has many shops and restaurants. So you could enjoy shopping and eating out there.

Just 6 minutes by walk from subway Imadegawa station. You can walk to imperial palace in 10 minutes. You can stay like you live in Kyoto. We have wooden bath with small garden view. There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with garden view. Electric bikes are rent for free. We have 2 houses,the house is next door, 7 people can stay at onetime. If you would like to, please make reservation from A&B.
