Conveniently located for exploring Cambridge and surrounding area, with free parking onsite, a frequent bus or an easy cycle to the city centre, and several excellent cafés, pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Bicycles are available free of charge. Every stay with us helps to fund the much-needed restoration of our Grade-II listed cottage. Thank you!

Delightful 1 Bedroom/En-suite Shepherd Hut

West Row lies on the north bank of the navigable River Lark, 2 miles west of the town of Mildenhall, and just south of the large airbase RAF Mildenhall occupied by USAF - a plane spotters dream. The cosy full sized double bed is made up for you upon arrival with beautiful cotton bed linen. To keep warm on cooler evenings logs are supplied for the woodburner. Fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries are provided in the en-suite shower room, complete with vanity sink, plumbed toilet and shower.

You and your dog/s can enjoy a private enclosed meadow to sit and watch the wildlife fly over head. Dip your feet in the River Waveney situated alongside the dog friendly village pub, a mere 5 mins walk away or stroll along to the woods. Your young child/ren too can experience glamping, we can set up a chair bed with a mattress topper for a cosy stay. Den building in the meadow will be a delight as they embrace nature around them. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with a butler sink, convection hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. You will have your own personal fire pit by your door and a wood burner inside the hut.
