The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. Bluebell cabin with wood fired hot tub

Bluebell cabin is set in an spruce plantation which is a 25min walk into Port Ellen . Outside the cabin features a log fired hot tub with views over the Oa perfect for relaxing after a day of taking in the scenery or distillery tours, the gas BBQ and viewing deck will leave you feeling peaceful and content. The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Whiterocks Villa

Beautiful property inside and out with the most stunning views of Royal Portrush Golf Course and only a stones through away from whiterocks beach. This home really need to be seen to be appreciated in its full entirety. Enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace and watch the sun set over the Whiterocks, take romantic walks along the beach or head into Portrush (1 mile away) for a night to remember. Once you stay one or two nights you will want to come back again.

Port Ellen Pod is a modern, well equipped, two bedroomed self catering cabin situated next to our home Swallows Roost.We are located approximately 3 miles from the village of Port Ellen on a quiet hillside with panoramic views overlooking Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen and Carraig Fhada Lighthouse. PLEASE NOTE: As we are located 3 miles from Port Ellen a car or some form of transport is recommended. Please ensure you book your car on the ferry in advance.

A very nicely converted traditional stone building which was originally a cattle shed. It is situated at the rear of 10 Charlotte Street, (Entrance to the Flats is from Back Road). The location means that while it is central, it is also away from the main road and is quiet. It is minutes walk from the shops, Hotel, Bistro, The 3 Distilleries Path and bus stop. A perfect location to be based while exploring Islay.
