Perfect base for hiking, cycling, visiting the Blasket, viewing stars at night, listening to the sound of the sea, with peaceful beaches and beautiful walks nearby. We are on the wild Atlantic Way, at the tip of the Dingle Peninsula, the halfway point of the Slea Head Drive. We are a 20min drive west of Dingle town. We have a pony.

The 40 Foot Modular home is located on the Maharees peninsula, which boasts outstanding panoramic views of Brandon Bay which is idyllic for a couples get away.Maharees and the surrounding areas is full of activities that caters for everyone, walking, beaches, hiking, windsurfing, fishing and watersports. 20 mins from Dingle. It is a 5 min walk from local bars and restaurants. 1 Bedroom with a double bed along with a pull out sofa bed in the living area. Bed linen and towels supplied. No pets.

This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

Adjacent to the kitchen is a sunroom/dining room looking out to the mountain views all around. the bathroom is newly refurbished with a spacious shower, a toilet and wash hand basin. there are 2 bedrooms. one doube, one twin. The Boat House is located right on the beach (perfectly safe for kids) on the island of Valentia off the Southwest coast of Ireland. The big window in the sitting room overlooks the beach, Lighthouse, Beginish Island and beyond. It is the most wonderful place to be in good weather and the most fascinating in bad weather when you can watch big waves crashing onto the beach, the rugged shore and the rocks by the lighthouse - all while being cuddled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea!

Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Just Off Wild Atlantic Way, my cottage is only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach and we are surrounded by magnificent views including the Magillycuddy Reeks mountain range & Inch beach and even the Blasket Islands in the distance. Dooks Golf Course is a spectacular Links course located only 1km away from the cottage. The cottage is very homely and is located on our farm.
