Its a 50m walk to the beach and lagoon of the Bushmans River in Kenton on Sea on the E Cape's sunshine coast, and a 5 min drive to the Kariga river lagoon and beach Its an hour's drive to the Addo elephant park and 15 mins to 2 big 5 reserves. The town has lots of restaurants, shops, medical and vet help The house has a comfortable deck, inside and outside dining spaces, and a large well equipped kitchen.

The pool is heated all year round, and the house has a Tesla battery and solar system to ensure it always has reliable energy supply. Note: We don't accept bookings of large groups for a weekend.

The Red Door - Kenton on Sea

The bottom floor of the beachouse is a separate unit with private entrance and comprises of 2 bedrooms, bathroom with a bath , basin and toilet and separate shower with a basin and a washing machine. The spacious open plan living room and kitchen has a deck on the beachfront. The property is on the beach with 180 degree seaviews from all rooms. Bedroom 2 has a handbasin. A maximum of 5 poeple is allowed. There is an extra single bed in the livingroom. A lockup garage is available.

Complete privacy in your own kitchen garden, and access to a large, treed, semi-private garden that is for your exclusive use. A gate and fence separates you from my garden. Ideal weekend getaway/longer stay for digital nomads, couples, solo adventurers, small families (double sleeper couch for 2 children), or simply peace & quiet to finish writing that book!

Pura Vida Cottage (inverter & fibre) 2min to beach

Stand alone, self-catering cottage for two in a quiet area, short stroll to the beach/lagoon, shops and restaurants. Off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi (Fibre connection) and smart tv. Inverter and water tanks to assist with load shedding. Our housekeeper is available at an additional cost per day. Please do not hire strangers for security reasons. Please note no daily service or laundry facilities.
