The Coach House in a Listed Georgian Rectory

The Coach House is a cozy little attic space above the stables. Up some slate steps to big old wooden door, and inside is a little nest of oak beams, king size bed, kitchenette, bistro table, and shower room - the perfect place to spend the night, then off to explore the beautiful Devon in the morning. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

The Coach House

LOXHORE, a village and a parish near Barnstaple, North Devon. The village stands on a hill, amid beautiful scenery, 5¼ miles from the main town of Barnstaple. The Coach House is in the grounds of The Old Rectory, it enjoys open views across the Devon countryside and is only a short walk to the entrance to Deer Park Woods, part of the Arlington Court Estate. It must be noted that Loxhore is around 3.6 miles to the nearest pub. The fabulous north Devon beaches are a short drive away.

On the edge of Exmoor with views of the sea, Bramble Cottage is in a peaceful and beautiful location. It is within easy access to the glorious North Devon beaches and Exmoor is on the doorstep. A short drive can avail you of almost any activity you could want - hiking, biking, surfing, coasteering, golf, horse riding, shopping, relaxing, ice creams, Michelin star food to name just a few...during the school holidays the minimum stay is 7 nights and the changeover day is Saturday..

The Barn, West Ford Farm

The Barn is part of an historic farmstead. It was built from cob and stone in the 18th century and sits in a peaceful valley, a lovely place to get away from it all and enjoy the glorious Devon country side. It is on the edge of Dartmoor and next to the Two Moors Way. The pretty village of Drewsteignton is a couple of miles away with it's pub The Drewe Arms. The National Trust's Castle Drogo is half a mile beyond that. The Drogo Estate has beautiful walks along the River Teign
