A charming apartment located within the Grade 1 listed Layer Marney Tower! This apartment is situated within the main building of the Tower but benefits from its own private entrance and is completely self-contained. There are local supermarkets, plenty of takeaways & a couple of pubs within a 5 minute drive in nearby Tiptree. Also 15 min drive from Kelvedon station, with trains to London. There are some lovely walks on the door step.

Self Contained Studio in Wivenhoe

Tuck away next to the Wivenhoe woods (upper Wivenhoe), this lovely self-contained studio flat provides comfortable accommodation throughout. The studio is on a cul-de-sac, with its own entrance. It is just a short walk to the University of Essex via Wivenhoe Public pathway. The the train station is also only 15 minute walk away through the Wivenhoe trail. Ideal for 1-2 guests, but a baby or small chid is welcome (providing that you bring your own travel cot & bedding with you).

Our self contained & spacious 3 bedroom cottage is part of a grade 2 listed farmhouse, the oldest rooms dating back to the early 1400’s, but with modern conveniences such as a fully stocked kitchen and wifi. Next to a working farm, it has a private garden and patio, & if it’s raining/in cooler weather, do use our conservatory to relax in. Please note: the property is No Smoking throughout, including the kitchen & conservatory.
