Spacious 2 bedroom home located on Gorge road only 5km(5min) out of town centre on the way to Katherine Gorge. Very quite and relaxing area. Bedroom 1 queen size bed and bedroom 2 with 2 queen single beds. Front veranda with bbq and back veranda with outdoor laundry, undercover carport. Huge fenced yard. Access to the river mtb/walking trails. External PowerPoints and water taps. Fully equipped kitchen. Second drive away on the 107 Gorge road with sign “slow down ducklings crossing the road”.

Our cabin has been renovated in mid 2024 and furnished with the utmost of care & comfort in mind, "Territory Tough" is a real thing but your accommodation need not be!! Set on 20 acres (5 of those being manicured gardens) this is a private and peaceful escape for those wanting to keep a close base but avoid town. Located just 7km outside of Katherine in a beautiful rural setting, and 12km to Tindal RAAF base. Shauna's Shack is a super comfortable and safe location for your Territory visit.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Being 10 minutes from town on a large private property provides complete safety to residents and guests. We have goats, sheep, poultry and horses as well as a resident peacock. All friendly. Note: AirBnb auto location have incorrectly described us as being 20 minutes from 'Kakadu National Park ', in fact Kakadu NP does border our Nitmiluk NP, however, it should read 20 minutes to Nitmiluk National Park and Katherine Gorge.
