Daarenboven is het appartement gelegen op de knooppuntenroute en dus een ideaal vertrekpunt om prachtige fietstochten te maken door de kempen. Fietsenstalling is voorzien!

The pearl of this region is still the viper, one of the rarest reptiles in Flanders. Besides hiking and biking, the area is also suitable for day trips like visiting the 'Lilse Bergen' in summer (4.1km), the abbey of Westmalle (13km), Lilse Golf & Country (2.2km). Antwerp is also with 40km not very far.

De Zandhoef, Delux Kota with private jacuzzi

Situated 3.5 km from the picturesque village of Eersel, on the very edge of the forest, lies B&B De Zandhoef. This beautiful cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests. You have access to your own private 6 person Jacuzzi. There are mountain-bike and hiking trails starting in our back yard and you are more than welcome to rent our e-MTB or MTB to try these out. Dit is een ruime vakantiewoning, voor max. 6 personen, gelegen in Tielen/Kasterlee, omringd door bossen, vennen, heiden en weilanden. Winkels, eet- en drankgelegenheden op wandelafstand. De ligging is centraal maar toch rustig, zo ligt het station om de hoek en sta je in 10 minuten in Herentals of Turnhout, Antwerpen in 30 min. Voor fietsers en wandelaars is dit zeker "the place to be"!
