For 1 to 9 people, at a per person rate, Alkantmooi offers peaceful family self-catering, self-service accommodation against the Mariepskop mountain Kampersrus, near the Kruger National Park, Hoedspruit and East Gate Airport. Close to Blyde River Canyon Dam, Moholoholo Wildlife Rehab Centre, and Kampersrus shops. 55km to Orpen Gate Kruger National Park, 39km from Hoedspruit and East Gate Airport.

The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

Please note NO Parties are tolerated here. Two Private Rooms with ensuite in a 2 Bedroom House set in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. The rooms have a outdoor and indoor shower and bath. Please note: Bathroom is open to the bedroom. I live in a little cottage next to the house so will be around 😎 Animals have the right of way here! SPEED LIMIT IS 30KM/H. Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

Our expansive home in a wildlife estate in Hoedspruit is the perfect space to unwind and explore. Enjoy the passing-by of leopards, hyena, giraffes, warthog, buck of all kinds, mongooses, giant lizards and beautiful birds - all of whom make their way through our garden on a daily basis. Explore the Kruger National Park from multiple gate entries - the closest of which is just a short 30-minute drive away. Relax in the pool with a cocktail to the sounds of the bush, and slow down in style.

Little Pangolin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our two story home has a style all of it's own. A wonderful 2 bedroom property that exudes charm and character. Beautifully decorated with lots of outside entertaining space and a small welcoming splash pool. This property can be rented in conjunction with Palgolin's Rest which is right next door, giving 5 bedrooms in total for up to 10 guests. The property is located within the secure Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate where animals roam freely.

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made. Penzhorn Rest Cottage

This modern two-sleeper cottage is nestled in the heart of the bush along the Olifants River just 25km outside Hoedspruit. This "Peace" of Africa brings tranquillity with the soothing river and daily presence of various buck, birds and occasional sightings of hippo's and crocodile. Enjoy the custom-built "Bos Bad" to cool down or heat up (with a coal stove) overlooking a stunning river view, uninterrupted bush, beautiful sunsets, a starlit sky and the Milky Way at night.

Tucked away in lush indigenous woodland, a delightful and roomy cottage is located in the charming village of Kampersrus, situated on the eastern slopes of the stunning Blyde River Canyon. "My Side of the Mountain" is an ideal getaway for nature lovers, as mongoose, bushbabies, and antelope frequently wander through the area. A diverse array of birds also inhabits the surroundings, their constant songs creating a beautiful backdrop to the natural environment.
