This is a beautiful, wild forested place with no roads or cars but rich with birdsong and silence. A great place to relax, swim, fish, walk or row in the bay. Sea access only. Pelorus Mail Boat service cheapest option charging $60 per person or half price for children 15 yrs or under. 3 private Havelock water taxis.

Awaroa - Abel Tasman National Park

The Abel Tasman is one of "NZ's 8 Great Walks". The beautiful golden sands and pristine waters of Awaroa Inlet, and the Abel Tasman track are on our doorstep. Our Awaroa beachfront property is located on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park and the Cottage is nestled in our back garden. The cottage is not seaward-facing, only a few steps to the beach. We have a Necky Looksha 19ft Ocean double kayak, life jackets, dry bags, free to use to explore the estuary, the river or Awaroa Bay.
