With a huge backyard there’s room for the kids to play, and lovely outdoor dining area to enjoy dinner cooked on the barbie, and then the fairy lights in the trees will come on for a beautiful way to enjoy the evening. Whanganui Awa became the first waterway in the world to get legal personhood, in 2017. Staying next to her in "The Braeburn" is a rare opportunity to come inside this often admired building. On the second floor in the main wing with a huge exclusive NON SMOKING balcony, is your truly blissful escape. Come watch the sunsets, and pour yourself a drink. Slow down, relax and enjoy. Soak up the Sunset Beach House

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space, with amazing views of the sunset. Fully renovated in 2020 Cook a delicious meal in the well equipped kitchen, then dine on your choice of decks to soak up the rural or sea views. Just a 7 minute walk to the popular Castlecliff beach for a swim or take a stroll along the black sandy beach, call into the Citadel for a meal or drink on the way home. Ohakune is an hours drive to enjoy the great walks or skiing. 4 square and laundromat close by

Farm stay with a view

Hi, we're Kathy & Shane and live on a 3-acre lifestyle block with great views. We're close to the city centre only 3.8 kms south of Whanganui. The Air BnB is detached with its own entrance, open plan with kitchenette, lounge area, queen bed, sofa bed, and bathroom. Is equipped with a small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, S&P, coffees, teas, and farm milk. We have Wi-Fi, TV, parking, and outside seating. We love the tranquillity of living in the country and hope you will too.

Comfortable, semi-rural, within 4 minutes of town. Situated on a 3 acre block, this Airbnb is completely separate and offers privacy and convenience. It comes with a well equipped kitchen and breakfast is included. There is a smart Tv and Wifi. There is a locked garage available for storage of items such as bikes or small water craft. There is heaps of parking for trailers etc. Wake up and listen to the bird song - we hope you will love this place as much as we do!

The Red Barn - Rural but close to town.

The Red Barn provides a rural retreat, a quick 7-minute drive to vibrant Whanganui city. Local café and brewery down the road and close to the Windermere Berry Farm. A self-contained cottage set privately in the grounds of our property offering options for whatever break away you are looking for. Sit and relax outside in the sun, or stoke up the fire and chill out, or grab your bike and explore the country roads. Dedicated EV charger, type 2. Secure storage for bikes.

Station House

A beautifully presented TWO bedroom apartment in central Whanganui, close to shops and restaurants. Situated in the iconic Old Central Fire Station building that's been recently renovated adding another bedroom and other changes include the double glazed windows. This will be a very warm, comfortable and secure place to stay. Hosts Tracy & Brian are keen to do whatever they can to ensure you enjoy your stay.

There’s a large living/dining room with a kitchenette, a good-sized bathroom, one bedroom with queen bed and one with 2 single beds.
