This 46 acre property has beautiful hiking trails, abundant wildlife, and lake for fishing or canoeing so guests can really enjoy the great outdoors! It's located just minutes off I-65 in Jemison, Alabama (Chilton County) centrally located between Birmingham and Montgomery.

Woodland Retreat Mushroom Farm

This is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom private suite that sits on 14 acres. Enjoy the large back deck or walk around our mushroom yard where we grow Log-grown Shiitake Mushrooms. This private suite (meaning closed off) from the main house is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We offer a sitting area inside and out, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot tea, wireless internet, and a large TV with free Netflix. We also offer authentic italian dinners and sides for purchase. The Barn - Only 5 minutes to I65

The Barn is one of 4 rentals offered by Green Pastures Getaways. This is a barn that has been converted to a wonderful guest house. Beautiful hardwood floors, bamboo countertops, stainless appliances, tiled shower with rainfall shower, stone sinks and much more. The Barn has a full kitchen. Situated on 3.5 acres with lots to do outside. Enjoy a fire in the courtyard fire pit on a cool evening, enjoy a game of cornhole, enjoy the wildlife (deer, turkeys, birds, etc.) or take a walk.

1800's Victorian Home ~SWAN House~ 5 miles off I65

Step back to Alabama's past. Historical Victorian style Thorsby Home. The Swan house. Built in the late 1800s, its like having an entire bed & breakfast to yourself! Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, relaxing on one of the huge porches. Ruko TV. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. House sleeps 9, extra fee for more then 6 guest. Dish washing is old fashion way - by hand. (No dish washer) Parking for two cars in driveway and addition parking in yard allowed.

After a nice day on the golf course, a tiring day at 17 Springs Sports Complex, a fun day at the lake or a long day at Maxwell AFB this is the perfect type of scenery that you need to unwind and relax!

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable hidden escape located 5 mins from I-65 . 1 bedroom with loft. Dedicated work area with futon. Take in the outdoors with a walk down to the dock on a stocked private lake . Enjoy fishing, swimming, short hikes or take out the paddle boat. Even though you are in the country, shopping, dining and 17 Springs is only about a 12 min drive. Absolutely No Parties.
