Relax in the tranquil rural setting or stroll more than two miles of comfortable walking paths that wind through 25 acres of stream-lined hayfields. From Rose Cottage, you're just minutes from the best local cideries, distilleries, and wineries including Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards. Easy 20-minute drive to UVa and 22 minutes to Monticello.

Farmstay pets and one Nights

Farmstay on a 14 acre farm Queen bed loft upstairs. Down stairs has a bathroom, kitchen with sink, stove, oven, microwave, and complimentary kitchen-cups . There is a twin sleeper sofa in living room. Front and back porch, wireless internet and RukuTv. 14 acre farm with walking trails, old mill and creek. Cleaning fee $50 and Pet fee $25 day. No aggressive breeds please. All monies go toward our Horse sanctuary 501c nonprofit. Special rates do not apply from Dec 12-Jan 1st or holiday weekends

Bright and cheery in the bedrooms best suited for 2-4 adults or family with children. Wonderful sound of the river throughout the property. Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Our guest house is close to White Oak Canyon, Skyline Drive, Three Blacksmiths, Washington, and Luray Caverns! Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign). ***If booking in winter months, keep in mind the wind tends to be heavy, depending on weather.***

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.
