Our light bright garden view annexe is ideally situated for enjoying all that the Jurassic coastline has to offer. The harbour at West Bay (setting for ITV’s drama Broadchurch) is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The bustling historic town of Bridport is only 5 minutes by car or about 25 minutes on foot. There you will find a twice weekly street market, a variety of shops and a good choice of pubs and cafes. Both Bridport Leisure Centre and the Golf Club with driving range are nearby.

The Duck Wing, quirky dog friendly apartment

The Duck Wing is a quirky, self contained apartment on the first floor within Plenty Cottage. It's beautifully appointed for a relaxed, carefree stay in a wonderfully rural environment. Nothing is too much trouble. It sleeps two in double bed in a pretty bedroom and has a double sofa bed too. Own bathroom/shower, a separate WC and a warm spacious living area. In summer relax on the deck to enjoy glorious views of Lyme Bay on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Nestling in my garden, Chesil Beach and the South West Coast Path are 30 seconds away down a private path. Watch magnificent sunsets over the bay and enjoy stargazing in our dark skies.

This town house has been in my family for over 100 years. You’ll be staying in one of the oldest buildings Poole has to offer! Located on the high street you’re surrounded by lots of pubs and restaurants, a stones throw away from Poole quay and baiter park just 5 mins walk.
