Hidden away in the centro storico of beautiful Irsina is Casa Santa Maria. The recently beautifully refurbished three bedroom house boasts many of the characteristics of these historic buildings with brick vaulted ceilings and arches, retaining its character with modern comfort. As well as three large bedrooms Casa Santa Maria has a sitting room, modern kitchen, dining room with patio, and two bathrooms. Upstairs it has a large well sheltered terrace with glorious views, as well as a laundry.

Grotta confort nei Sassi

All'interno di un hotel diffuso nei Sassi di Matera, in questa camera in grotta si accede dal terrazzo comune attraverso un’ampia porta finestra. E’ un alcova interamente scavata nel tufo. Estremamente accogliente anche solo per la conformazione, cava e tondeggiante si presenta quasi come un utero materno. Il bagno, se pur piccolo è completo di bidet e doccia. E’ dotata di aria condizionata, tv, mini-bar e wifi gratuito. Nel costo della grotta è inclusa una ricca e speciale colazione a buffet.

The house, capable of sleeping up to six, has a modern feel to it and features a spacious open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor; two bedrooms and a stunning modern bathroom on the first floor; and a wonderful sunroom and large open terrace with magnificent views over the terracotta roofs and beyond on the top floor.

This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter.
