The Blue Yard is a tiny home on the beautiful drive-on island of Aughinish, 12 km outside the sea-side town of Kinvara, named one of the top ten beautiful villages in Ireland. Aughinish Island is accessed by a 1 km causeway (not tidal) and is an area of unspoilt beauty with local pebble beaches a five minute walk away and the sandy beach of Traught a ten min drive away (8 km). You'll be staying on the Clare-Galway border with both the wildness of the Burren and Galway city at your doorstep.

You can walk to the sea in just under one minute while unwinding in our sauna after. At Curlew Beag, We have an Irish saying that goes 'An té a bhíonn siúlach, bíonn scéalach', which simply translates to 'he who travels has stories to tell'. Surrounded by excellent coastal and hill walking terrain, it is also a 10 minute drive from the Wild Atlantic Way, the town of Westport and the Great Western Greenway. It is a bright, comfortable and contemporary home. The house is set in beautiful semi-wild gardens with views of Croagh Patrick, Ireland's holy mountain. With all modern facilities, it includes an outdoor patio and a barbeque area beside the sea.
