Nestled into six acres of private forested land, this studio apartment has everything you need for the perfect stay, including a visiting porch, private bath with shower and tub, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, dining nook, sitting area, and queen sized bed. Local activities, Livingston Lake, the Sam Houston Wine trail, and a quaint downtown, are all within a few miles drive!

Forest Lane Guest Quarters

Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

Come getaway in the country! House is surrounded by acreage and has a large area surrounding the house for your fur baby/ies. There is a stock pond in front of the house which is open for your fishing pleasure (Blue Catfish and Crappie). There is a large porch up front, perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset and spending time slowing the pace of life. Minutes from downtown and close to local attractions. Wifi (hot spot) and Roku have recently been added due to popular demand.

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston. Quiet bedroom with king sized bed & set of twin bunks . Separate entrance through garage provides privacy. There are not shared spaces, but the guest suite is connected to our home.
