The Texian Cabin

Enjoy a unique 1700 sqft Texas themed log cabin in the woods! This 1.5 story home, located on a small family farm, has three bed rooms and two bathrooms with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player.

This is a great place to relax and unwind while enjoying the beautiful sunset and sunrise at the lake in Sam Houston National Forest with the geese, the ducks, and the birds, and keeping an eye out for the deer enjoying the lake. There's plenty of yard for your furbabies to enjoy. There's lots of scenery on the drive to the cottage (forests, wildlife, lakes, countryside, wineries, farms, wedding venues, etc.); you never know what you can capture, so bring your camera.

There's lots of scenery (forests, wildlife, lakes, countryside, etc.); you never know what you can capture, so bring your camera!

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. We grow seasonal vegetables and exotic rare fig tree varieties from around the world! We are big FIG enthusiast here!
