The Garden House is a cedar cabin on a mountaintop in the Great Northern Catskills. Our house is setback by a long path, on a wooded lot, and very private. It’s a place to slow down, to recharge the mind & body, and indulge in the immense beauty of the mountains. It’s cozy, made for late night cocktails by a real wood burning fireplace, and for slow mornings at the kitchen table. Our area is all-seasons with skiing, hiking, waterfalls, dipping in lakes & rivers, and plenty of fresh mountain air.

Alpine Ridge is set on 3 acres of land, high up on a private road. From the house, you'll see the Bearpen Mountain Range across the valley. We designed and curated our home to be a perfect escape. Though remote, we are close to town for all the essentials: 5 mins to Prattsville, 15 mins from Windham and 25 mins from Hunter. Our cozy little cottage is tucked away adjacent to the woods. This single floor 650sf apartment is a perfect place to unwind, build a bonfire, & enjoy the nature that surrounds you. Wake up in the morning to watch deer while enjoying your coffee on the porch. Main St. Tannersville is only an 8 min walk; with its nice selection of restaurants & shops. Hunter Mountain & Kaaterskill Falls are within a 10 min drive . Woodstock, Saugertise, Windham, Catskill & Kingston are within a 35 min drive.

We offer a rustic, cozy and clean studio cabin for you to enjoy and make your home base while you explore the area. It's an intimate space to relax & rejuvenate in. We are located between Woodstock and Phoenicia making it easy to explore the eclectic shops and delicious restaurants and awesome hiking. Great skiing can be found 30-45 minutes away depending on the mountain you choose. Please read details thoroughly, so you can ensure a great getaway! We look forward to hosting you and yours!

Kashmir on the lake Catskills Hunter, NY

Why Kashmir on the lake? in 2004 the house was built by a local husband and wife who were dedicated to having their grandchildren enjoy this special place in the Catskills. The family decided to move south and listed the home to rent occasionally - especially for the music festival Mountain Jam in Hunter . Scenic country cabin located between Hunter Mountain and Windham Mountain, in the charming hamlet of Maplecrest. Surrounded by trees and the wilderness, it creates an idyllic mountainside escape, private and secluded grounds with only night stars and the sounds of wildlife. The decor is a mix of modern, color, and comfort, with lots of natural wood details. Both ski mountains are only a short 10 mins drive away. This is a great place for a romantic getaway or an outdoor trip in the Catskills.

Wake up in the morning to deer and wild turkeys roaming in the forest outside, and enjoy your coffee in the sunroom, on the back deck or on a walk to nearby Cooper Lake. Downtown Woodstock is an 8 min drive, while other local favorites The Pines and Phoenicia Diner are within 15 minutes. Close by hiking trails abound as well, with the famous Overlook Mountain under 5 miles away.
