Coldstream Cottage

Set on a 20hectare property on the banks of the Mooi River, Coldstream Cottage is the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy the beautiful views on the verandah, stroll down to the river or have an early morning run. The cottage is an architect designed, open plan, one bedroom unit with partly open plan bathroom. Morning sun pours through expansive glass panes, a free standing fireplace and solid wood floors help keep it warm in winter. A 20 minute drive gets you to Nottingham Road shops and restaurant

Beautiful Breeze Cottage

Beautiful Breeze Cottage sits among the stunning hills of the Dargle Valley. It overlooks 3 tranquil dams, rolling pastures and an indigenous forest. There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Bourne View

Bourne View is a spacious, welcoming, 2 bedroom home in Gowrie Village. It is a short walk to coffee shops and gym, and yet gives a feeling of being in the countryside. The uninterrupted views from the enclosed verandah with sliding glass doors, offer a peaceful space to relax or listen to birds. The garden is a rare feature that sets the house apart from many village homes. The Cosy Nook at Bourne View is a separate unit with its own entrance and garden. It will be bookable from July.

The Forest Pod A serene eco-haven, KZN Midlands.

The Forest Pod is a unique, tranquil and romantic spot where you get to unwind, disconnect and reset. This eco-chique haven holds you in the gentle palm of Nature, where butterflies, rare birds, and bush buck frequently visit. Our farm offers a few hikes through the indigenous forest where you get to sip from pristine streams, enjoy the beauty of waterfalls, and be enamoured by the gentle light filtering through the trees. Located at the Hilton Bush Lodge, bordering the famous Hilton College, Caracal Lodge sits among trees opening to spectacular views of the Rietspruit and Umngeni valleys. We are close to top Midlands schools, Hilton, Howick and the N3. Each bedroom has a wall mounted heater and there is a log burning fireplace in the lounge. The kitchen has a toaster, kettle, fridge freezer, air fryer and 4 place gas stove with electric oven. The property is off grid with solar power and a backup generator and borehole water.
