Conveniently located between Old Girdwood and the base of the mountain, the cabin is a 2 mile distance to the base of with the paved bike trail at the front door. Tons of parking. Can fit trailers and toys. I don’t mind events such as birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette, even weddings. We had a Harry Potter themed birthday party (see pics) and the holidays are always amazing in Girdwood. All I ask is you and your guests are respectful of the space and don’t trash it. Just please no glitter.

The Bowman's Cabin is ideal for people wanting the privacy of their own Alaskan cabin with many modern comforts. This 2 bedroom cabin is yours entirely to yourself. It is situated directly next to Bear Creek and is just steps to Bear Creek Pond. The cabin has 2 queen size beds, a full-size couch pull-out, a twin-size couch pull-out, and a single roll-away bed. With your own deck, you can sit for hours watching the activities of the creek with an eagle's nest right next to the front door.

The beautiful community of Hope is a two hour drive from Anchorage. Hope HUB offers summer and winter trails for hiking, biking and skiing. PILOTS: the runway is a 10 minute walk, tie down the saucer and ride our community beater bikes into town for food and music. The Hope HUB has great views of the surrounding mountains on both sides. Use our outdoor fire pit, stocked with wood. Meet Wally our resident walrus and enjoy a truly extraterrestrial experience.

Awesome Girdwood cabin near lifts, hiking, brewery

You will love this quiet cabin surrounded by trees. It’s a great base to explore all that this part of Alaska has to offer. Only 3/4 mile to Alyeska ski resort. Tons of hiking and biking nearby. A short drive will take you to Anchorage, Turnagain Arm, Whittier, or Portage Glacier. Seward is close enough for a day trip for a fishing charter, a wildlife cruise, or a hike at Exit Glacier. After each day’s adventures, come home to this warm and inviting space.

You can mingle with the locals or curl up with a book. You can even enjoy the fabulous live weekend music throughout the summer. Dogs are welcome with additional pet cleaning fee.

Alyeska Hideaway Log Cabins "Placer Cabin"

Enjoy Alaska the "Alaskan Way" in your own log cabin. Placer Cabin is a 2 bedroom private cabin built in 2016 in Girdwood AK. Upstairs you can spread out on the king bed and our main floor bedroom has a queen. For larger groups there is a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room and the cabin is fully furnished & equipped for cooking needs.
