Our incredible homestead nestled in the woods is the perfect place to make memories. Make it a getaway in the Gorge. Welcome to our family home since 2001. We are located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, 4 blocks from downtown White Salmon, and a 5 minute drive from Hood River. You will have use of our entire main level, with 3 bedrooms, a brightly lit bathroom, large kitchen, formal dining, comfortable living room, deck with BBQ and a private setting with mature landscaping that provides incredible shade all afternoon. Brian and Jessie welcome you to Acorn Cottage! This quaint 1910 cottage in a quiet neighborhood is a 4 minute walk to downtown Stevenson’s restaurants, shopping and breweries, and a 6 minute walk to the shore of the Columbia River. Located on a quiet street in Stevenson’s oldest neighborhood, Acorn Cottage offers guests a peaceful respite and the opportunity to ‘hide in plain sight’ in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge.

Recently remodeled from top to bottom with heated bathroom flooring and an outdoor shower (it is on the back yard patio for rinsing off, does have hot and cold water). The kitchen is bright and cheery, open to the main room and dining, a great spot to cook and hangout with family or friends. Upstairs is a cozy sleeping nook with two twin beds and a gorgeous half bath. We chose high end foam mattresses and 700 count sheets.
