A standalone self catering cottage on Happy Valley farm - 30kms from Hogsback and 30kms from Cathcart,all gravel🌳🏡🌳 Perfect for an escape from the busy city of a stop over on a road trip 🚗 Gone fishing 🎣 : Guests have access to trout and bass fishing dams. A rod fee applies. You can keep 1 fish per rod (subject to meeting size requirements), after that it’s catch and release. Sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms - 2 x double beds, 2x single beds. Please note: Road is very bad at the moment

The Chalet at Maple Grove, Hogsback

The Chalet has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven/hob and microwave. TV and Fireplace. French doors lead onto patio with private garden, barbecue and Gazebo. Sleeps 4. For those guests requiring more accommodation we have The Cottage at Maple Grove which sheeps 2 (can also accommodate two children on stackbeds), and The Cabin at Maple Grove which sleeps 2. Ideal for an extended family booking of up to 10 guests.

It is a perfect place for couples seeking a relaxing and romantic weekend, a family or friendship getaway or a place to work (wifi reception is good and there is a large worktable).

The Bunny Burrow

This is one of our most popular cottages. It sleeps two, but can sleep 3 if need be. The cottage was built up from an old pool and has so much character! The sunken lounge and kitchen, along with the loft-style bedroom make this the perfect cottage for a couple wanting to get away. It is fully equipped and offers a beautiful little fireplace for those cold nights on the mountain. With a breathtaking view, it's no wonder it's so popular! Unique and tranquil getaway.

Redwood Chalet in Hogsback

Redwood Chalet is a true haven in a tranquil area of Hogsback. It is near the end of a cul-de-sac in Trevennan Lane. The chalet is self catering and comfortable for 5 guests. Indoor fireplace Outdoor braai place on stoep Free firewood. Free Wifi. Smart TV with free DStv package The spacious garden has azaleas hydrangeas, rhododendrons, circum lilies and Redwood and Yellowwood trees. Birders will easily spot the Cape Parrot and Knysna Loerie in the trees.

Camroshell: Rustic Forest Retreat in Hogsback

Camroshell is a charming rustic forest retreat in Hogsback, perfect for families or groups. The main house sleeps 6, with two flatlets for 2 each (10 guests total). Enjoy three fire pits, and a large deck overlooking ancient forests. Self-catering with an on-site assistant to help with keys, fires, and wood. Bramber Cottage is a modern self-catering accommodation set in a tranquil , beautiful park-like garden with mature trees. It is easily accessible by any vehicle. The property is located on a major road and is fully fenced with an electrically operated gate. It is within a walking distance to The Edge, The Eco Shrine and to several beautiful walks. The property is entirely independent from Eskom power supply.

Bubuhle Cottage

Quaint and cozy cottage amongst the trees. This is a fully kitted out self-catering cottage, perfect for a romantic getaway or a family of five. Situated close enough to town, but far enough for a quiet, tranquil getaway. If you enjoy relaxing around the fire (outiside or inside), listening to the birds and some privacy, this cottage is for you. Pets are welcome.
