For the adventurer, both the Adirondacks and many famous Herkimer Diamond mines are only a short drive away!

The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Guests love the outdoor sauna, Sunday to Wednesday private chef brunch or dinner, espresso maker, fully stocked kitchen, and everything you need for a campfire under the string lights. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. We live in the area year round and love to share our favorite places.

Centrally located between Syracuse and Albany. 40 min to Cooperstown (1 hour to All Star Village). 15 min to Herkimer Diamond Mines. Also, nearby the home of the Utica Comets Hockey and Utica City Football Club!

Restaurants, pubs and a local grocery store minutes away. The cabin is perfect for 2. A third person will add a 25.00 per night fee. Due to allergy reasons we can accept no pets.

Our guesthouse is minutes from the interstate, but you'll swear that you've traveled far out in "God's country." Surrounded by many Amish neighbors, we are centrally located to Cooperstown, Howe Caverns, the Southern Adirondacks, Saratoga, Albany, Utica, and the Mohawk Valley (all within an hour's drive or less.) We have over an acre of property with a private pond for your viewing, kayaking, fishing and swimming pleasure. Located 30 minutes west of Speculator, our property is close to hiking trails, snowmobile trails and other Adirondack sights. Bring your supplies for the weekend, your sweetie and your well behaved pups and enjoy your stay at the cozy cabin on the creek.

Tucked away on a serene lakefront, Camp Stardust offers exceptional privacy, natural beauty, and comfort. The cabin is all windows - providing panoramic lake and wildlife views—ducks, eagles, otter, deer, and heron are frequent visitors. PLEASE NOTE: Our housekeeper is available Monday and Friday only from June through October. So please request dates that arrive and depart on a Monday or Friday to be accepted. Thank you!
