It features a stone fireplace, fire pit, lounge sofas, & dining tables. This cabin is private with lush woodlands around it and endless leisures like floating down the river in the summer sun or having a snowball fight as the flakes fall in winter. No matter the season, this cabin is perfect for family & friends to gather to enjoy each other’s company!

Two full bedrooms and baths for amazing privacy. Explore the local scenery by day and Sit around the bonfire by night! You won't find anything this peaceful without sacrificing the modern essentials. Unwind at our cabin in the woods! Located only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy great fishing and gorgeous views with private riverfront access or retreat to the electric barrel sauna. Cabin also includes a screened in front porch with a fire table and plenty of space to gather. Enjoy the modern kitchen, full bath, 2 bedrooms, and a cozy living space with fireplace. ***Located next door to our Little Oak Cabin also available to rent (each w/ private sauna, fire pit and river access)***

Wood River Retreat: Private Cabin Above the River

Extremely private wooded getaway nestled deep in the woods overlooking the Wood River, about an hour drive from the Twin Cities & 1.5 miles from the St Croix River. With many modern touches, it's still very much a cabin. Relax on the wood deck on top of the ravine or in the large screen porch. Get cozy by the wood-stove, the new sauna, fire-pit or swim in the river. Enjoy total seclusion or visit many local restaurants & parks with great hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, birding, and skiing.

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Panoramic river cabin w/fireplace cozy all winter

Come stay at the river this winter! With panoramic views from the living room and bedroom, you will be amazed at the wildlife. Share your time with deer, otters, geese, swans, even an occasional bear. This cabin has direct frontage on the Snake River. Wooded acreage gives you privacy and the up north feeling, yet is less than 1 hour from MPLS, and 10 minutes from historic Pine City, a great place for you to shop and grab a bite. Near state parks for hiking, XC, snowshoeing, snowmobiling.

The whole group will be comfy in this spacious and unique spot in the pines. The overhead door is the only “garage” thing about it! There are plenty of activities in the area, or stay right on our nearly 15 acres of forested land to relax and walk or ride our trails through the trees. We’ve added a screen for the garage door opening. Now you can roll up the garage door to feel like you’re outside! The screen cords have been damaged so it will no longer retract, but works great down!

Private Log Home with Hot Tub and Sauna

Welcome to Keystone Lodge! Located just an hour north of the twin cities. Come enjoy this private log home tucked back on 10 acres. You will find Knife Lake just a ½ mile down the road. Bring your favorite outdoor gear or stay in and enjoy the healing heat from the pellet stove. There is something for everyone. Enjoy the campfire and roast some marshmallows while taking in the serenity. There are lakes, restaurants, breweries, state parks, and trails close by. (Refer to guidebook.)

Sturgeon Lake Studio

Cozy dog friendly studio cabin to get away from it all! Situated on a half acre that also has RV hookups for those that want to park a camper. There are several lakes close by with boat and water access. Tons of hiking and exploring opportunities at Banning State Park, Moose Lake State Park and Jay Cooke State Park. Also in close proximity to ATV/biking/snowmobile trails including the Soo line and General Andrews. 15 minute drive to Moose Lake. And less than an hour from Duluth.

Riverside Retreat- A small cabin for big memories!

Renovated cabin nestled high in the pines overlooking the river. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space where the river views will take your breath away. We have a great selection of games, books and movies to snuggle up with in front of our warm fireplace. Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!

This bright and cozy 3 bed/2 bath home is a relaxing getaway just 70 miles north of the twin cities. Our cabin is set on a beautiful, pine filled peninsula offering amazing views of Cross Lake from the oversized deck or any window in the house! Whether you're interested in a relaxing get-away with the family, fishing Cross Lake (in summer or winter), hitting the casino (just a short 10 minute drive) or enjoying the nearby snowmobiling trails this cabin is a perfect fit.
