There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowwoods! The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a little farm so expect a bit of ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on. The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming. The cottage is not suitable from small children. The cottage is not pet friendly.

Comfortable Self Catering Garden Cottage in an "English Country Garden". Located in Howick Village in the Natal Midlands, close to Midlands Meander, Midmar Dam, Berg wihin 40-70 minute drive and Beach approximatley 1 hr's drive. Karkloof Adventures, close by, including excellent Cycle Tracks! Cottage equipped with TV, Internet and wifi. Washing machine available for guest use. 2 Electric blankets available. Third bedroom in upstairs "open space".
