The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. The Stables has a large private hot tub and garden, with panoramic views across open farmland, provides a wonderful bright and airy space to relax and unwind. Mostly on one level, with 2 bedrooms, living area, and conservatory kitchen/diner has a French gite feel about it. The property is secluded, yet guests can access all local amenities within a 2 mile radius and can walk or bike ride through miles of forest tracks straight from the door. Pets welcome. Canoeing, bike hire, Go Ape all close by

Great for walking the dogs, mountain biking, canoeing, caving, adventure activities or relaxing in front of the fire. Only 100m from local pub and 20mins ride to the cycle centre. The cottage is a great place to unwind and enjoy the Forest of Dean and also to explore South Wales and surrounding historic towns

Lambsquay House - Apartment One

Lambsquay House is a beautifully restored 300 year old Georgian Country House, located in the picturesque Forest of Dean, situated between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. A former hotel, it has undergone extensive renovations and is now home to Calico Interiors, a family run interiors/soft furnishing business, occupying the ground and first floor. The second floor has been converted into two self catering apartments with private entrance accessed via a staircase.

Butty Barn

Welcome to Butty Barn at 'House of Bread holiday cottages'. Newly converted & transformed into a beautiful stone barn with original features, including a log burner, slate floors, huge bedroom, spacious lounge diner. Great pub 2 minute walk. Forest of Dean is on the doorstep & 2 miles from Symonds Yat Rock, an AONB. Sleeps 2 & 1 dog allowed, but never to be left alone, due to H&S regs. Shared hot tub is available at an extra cost, we request 48hrs notice (inc payment) to refill & heat up.

The Old Shop in English Bicknor, Forest of Dean

The Old Shop is in the agricultural village of English Bicknor within the beautiful Forest of Dean district and the Wye Valley. The iconic Symonds Yat viewpoint is a pleasant walk away from the property through fields and via quiet country lanes. The Old Shop is an ideal base for those wanting to walk, mountain bike, climb, take part in water sports on the River Wye or just relax and explore this beautiful area. Coleford town is close by and there is a lovely local pub in walking distance.

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

The Boathouse on the River Wye with stunning views
