Holly Yurt

Holly is a traditional Yurt, 16ft in diameter it accommodates up to 4 people. Holly is set up with a double bed and 2 pull out single beds. Holly is one of our more secluded yurts, sited a short walk approximately 220 metres down from the Hub. Holly has an exceptional view over the Moray Firth and is a real favourite amongst guests. For those of you booking in a large group the closes yurts to Holly are Cherry (sleeps 4) and Juniper ( sleeps 4). Please note we do not accept dogs in Holly yurt.

20' woodland yurt in Highland glen

Set in our small mixed woodland at West Cottage and Stables in in picturesque Glenlyon, our 20ft yurt offers complete privacy, a choice of two fire pits (one under cover) and amazing views, a wood burning range cooker with an oven, and a double bed – to mention just the essentials. The yurt is lined with wool, and there's a pull out twin bed and a kettle and toaster. There's cold water in the yurt and a full bathroom a short walk up to our house. There's also your own loo right by the yurt.

Glamping at Skye Yurts- Water Yurt

Our Element themed yurts are Glamorous Camping. Heated by a toasty log burner. Communal facilities include shower room, fully equipped kitchen, dining area ,and composting toilet block. This is a good place for couples, solo adventurers, and families. We offer discounts for families travelling with children under 12 years please get in touch for more details. NB if you require additional sets of bedding, e.g 2 beds for 2 guests, we will charge £15 per set to cover the additional laundry.

Secluded Ptarmigan Yurt

For the first time since we installed it we are opening for the winter months as there are a lot of people around and the weather at the moment is quite warm. To do this we have installed a small oil heater which will keep the temperature up even when the fire is not lit. Once you light the fire it will be really cosy and warm. There is also an electric blanket on the bed for those colder nights. We do reserve the right to move you to the house if the weather becomes inclement.

Am Falachan - Lochside roundhouse

A bright and spacious timber roundhouse nestled below a single-track road amongst trees and by the shores of Loch Broom. Am Falachan offers a warm welcome within a private and peaceful self-contained dwelling with sweeping views over Loch Broom to Beinn Dearg and the surrounding hills. Am Falachan is located in Letters (An Leitir), 2.5 miles off the A835 and approximately 10 miles from the west coast fishing village of Ullapool. A perfect basecamp for Scotland's Highlands.

Willow Yurt

Willow is our largest traditional Yurt with a diameter of 20ft. Willow sleeps up to 5 people and is set up with a double bed and 3 single beds. Willow is one of our more secluded yurts and is the furthest from the Hub, at around 250 metres. It does however benefit of a composting toilet situated nearby. For those of you booking as part of a larger group, the closest yurts to Willow are Rowan (sleeps 4) and Hazel Geodome (sleeps 2). Willow is a dog friendly yurt.

Glamping at Skye Yurts- Earth Yurt

Our Element themed yurts are Glamorous Camping at it's best! Comfortably furnished, heated by a log burning stove, lined and insulated. Communal facilities include shower room, fully equipped kitchen, dining area ,and composting loo block. We offer discounts to families with children under 12, please get in touch for more details. NB if you require additional sets of bedding, e.g 2 beds for 2 guests, we will charge £15 per set to cover the additional laundry.

Cherry Yurt

Cherry Yurt is a traditional 16ft Yurt and accommodates up to 4 people. There is a double bed and 2 single pull out beds. Cherry boasts an excellent view across to Fort George and Chanonry Point. Cherry is a short but steep walk down from the Hub (approximately 150 metres). For those of you booking in a larger group Cherry is closest to Holly (sleeps 4), Juniper (sleeps 4) and Hazel (sleeps 2). Cherry is a dog friendly yurt.

Larch Yurt

Larch Yurt is our most recent creation and is new for the 2021 season. Larch Sleeps up to 5 people and is set up with a double bed, a single bed and a set of bunk beds. Larch is a totally unique design based on a traditional yurt but with a contemporary twist that really makes it something special.
